snowed in

Wow, so you would think with over a week of being snowed in, i would update.. lol, oh well... Last Friday, it started snowing, hard... between Friday and Saturday it looks like we got about 24-28 inches...

Our beautiful house under snow...

Shoveling out the mailbox

Then, finally on Tuesday, we got out of the house (well, D got the truck out) and dropped Jonas and I off at my friend, Christina's.. The boys had a blast playing in the snow...

King of the Mountain

Eric made the boys a tunnel... after a little fighting they both made it in..

Jonas in the tunnel.. he wasn't really sure about it

Gavin in the snow tunnel

So, Tuesday was Christna's birthday. Since roads were clear, we decided to leave the boys with Eric and go out for dinner... while out at dinner, eh 2nd snow storm started. By the time we got back to her place to get Jonas, the roads were already bad, and we decided it would be better if J and I stayed the night. I must say, poor Christina and Eric put up with us for 2 more days. The 2nd storm dumped about 20-24 more inches on us. We didn't get home until Thursday morning, when David was able to dig the truck out.. again...

So, the boys stayed in their jammies and played all day on Wednesday

this is our yard after we finally got home. Jonas has no interest in going back out in it

D's car is under that mound somewhere..

So here it is Sunday, most of the roads have finally been cleared (ours was hit finally yesterday), but still a but icy. The new forecast is calling for 6-12 inches more tomorrow. We have not been in school since last Thursday! Not sure if we will make it back in before Wednesday of this week.

on other news, we are pretty much settled into our house. Jonas is doing great, and we are just enjoying life right now.

Keep a friend of ours in your prayers. They had a baby at 27 weeks, though he sounds like he is doing very well.. those of you who know me, know what we went through. Having a preemie is no fun, but it does become a distant memory eventually.
