updates and such

I got away from posting on my blog here, Facebook kind of took over. Whatever I am thinking tends to end up on there anyway- but I have discovered (ok, so this is not actually news) that I can not go back and see what happened a year ago. I like being able to do that.

So Fresh Start-

Jonas is finishing up Kindergarten in 2 weeks! How can my baby

boy be so old? I look at him everyday with wonder. He is turning into such an amazing kid. He has become so outgoing. He loves school, and playing with his friends. He is that shy little boy anymore. Tonight we went to Cub Scout Family Picnic (we signed up for Cub Scouts tonight)- we got there, and he took off- no hanging around mom, no warming up period- just gone; and while it is fabulous to see how easily he ran off, it was also kind of of sad, it reiterated how much he isn't my baby anymore (which he tells me every day). He just got his orange belt in TKD, and is just changing so much.

Laney is growing like a flipping weed. She is HUGE! Ok, huge mig

ht be an exaggeration, seeing as she is in the 5th%tile- but for us, that is huge. She has chub on her. While her development is still delayed, she is learning so much everyday. She is no longer that fussy pants baby. She laughs and smiles all the time. We are figuring out she has some food allergies (or intolerance) but we are working on it. Just limiting the types of food she takes. Unlike Jonas, she LOVES to eat. Piggy Piggy. Right now she is learning to sit, and roll over.
